From other reviews I have read on this bag, it appears to be a roll of the dice as to whether you get a workable bag or not. In my case, it worked for me. Maybe the key is not to overstuff it, (I placed half as many items in that it is capable of holding) can't really say, but when it works it works well. Just as advertised, suction holds all items flat and tight, not to mention in a fraction of the space. Worth a try if you have the need.

I packed the bag with a lot of clothes and made sure to leave room for the zipper. The zipper sealed fine and the bag shrunk without a problem.

I like the vacum sealed bag because it can become more compact for storage. I am limited on storage space.

I have a heavy and thick goose down comforter quilt and it's a very warm quilt. Only problem is that in san diego it only comes in handy maybe about 2 months of the year. So I decided to buy a new thin quilt and store the warm one. Because of the lack of space in my closet, I went with the Space bag and I was initially skeptical of the bad reviews at first so that is why I bought it in the store so I can easily return it. The bag worked fine and it allowed me to store the quilt under my low bed.
So far so good, no air leaks.
